English to Hindi Translation Projects
We assist organizations with documentation or marketing material (e.g. brochures, manuals, website content, PowerPoint presentations, product labeling, etc.) that are written in Hindi and require accurate translation into English.
Of course, in addition to English to Hindi and Hindi to English translation assignments, we can also assist you with the translation of the world's most popular languages to and from Hindi: Arabic ↔ Hindi; Spanish ↔ Hindi; French ↔ Hindi; German ↔Hindi; Italian ↔ Hindi; Portuguese ↔ Hindi; Russian ↔ Hindi; Japanese ↔ Hindi; Chinese ↔ Hindi; Hindi ↔ Hindi; to name but the most popular... We can source translation expertise for virtually any language pair.
Hindi Language Style
Our translators, editors and proofreaders render well-written and clearly understandable texts. We place a high value on rendering a finished product that is faithful to the language style of the original text.
Hindi to English Translation Projects
We assist businesses in finding the best available Hindi to English language translation resources – including experienced Hindi language translators (native-speaking Hindi if appropriate or required).
In our experience, a Hindi language native-speaker may not necessarily be the right translator for the job. (See: Common myths and misconceptions about translation.) Though a native-speaker may be preferable for certain translation assignments, having Hindi as a native language may not 'translate into' Hindi language expertise (pun intended). An experienced linguist with strong Hindi and English language translation credentials, in-depth experience and professional credentials, regardless of native language, may often prove to be a better choice.
Identifying and securing the services of the appropriate Hindi language resources is what we do! (Refer to our Hindi translation assignment process for information on our Hindi translation project management process).
In a nutshell, we use professional translators who have a solid mastery of the Hindi language (grammar, spelling, cultural nuances) and a solid understanding of the subject matter.
Once we are confident that the appropriate freelance resources have been identified and certain that we can honour the project deadline, we submit a quote for the translation assignment.
If we cannot secure the appropriate resources, we will do our best to refer you to Hindi translation sources of information that we have confidence in.

The Hindi Language Landscape
Population of India: 1,147,995,898 (July 2008 est.)
Language: Hindi
Internet country code: .in
Internet users: 60 million (2005)
Hindi is the name given to an Indo-Aryan language, or a dialect continuum of languages, spoken in northern and central India (the Hindi belt).
Native speakers of Hindi dialects between them account for 41% of the Indian population (2001 Indian census). As defined in the Constitution, Hindi is one of the two official languages of communication (English being the other) for India and is one of the 22 scheduled languages specified in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution. Official Hindi is often described as Modern Standard Hindi, which is used, along with English, for administration of the central government. Standard Hindi is a sanskritised register derived from the khari boli dialect. Urdu is a different, persianised, register of the same dialect. However, speakers of the two dialects can easily communicate with each other.
