English to Arabic Translation Projects
We assist organizations with documentation or marketing material (e.g. brochures, manuals, website content, PowerPoint presentations, product labeling, etc.) that are written in Arabic and require accurate translation into English.
Of course, in addition to English to Arabic and Arabic to English translation assignments, we can also assist you with the translation of the world's most popular languages to and from Arabic: Chinese ↔ Arabic; Spanish ↔ Arabic; German ↔Arabic; Japanese ↔ Arabic; Portuguese ↔ Arabic; Russian ↔ Arabic; Korean ↔ Arabic; Italian ↔ Arabic; Hindi ↔ Arabic; to name but the most popular.... We can source translation expertise for virtually any language pair.
Arabic Language Style
Our translators, editors and proofreaders render well-written and clearly understandable texts. We place a high value on rendering a finished product that is faithful to the language style of the original text.
Arabic to English Translation Projects
We assist businesses in finding the best available Arabic to English language translation resources – including experienced Arabic language translators (native-speaking Arabic if appropriate or required).
In our experience, a Arabic language native-speaker may not necessarily be the right translator for the job. (See: Common myths and misconceptions about translation.) Though a native-speaker may be preferable for certain translation assignments, having Arabic as a native language may not 'translate into' Arabic language expertise (pun intended). An experienced linguist with strong Arabic and English language translation credentials, in-depth experience and professional credentials, regardless of native language, may often prove to be a better choice.
Identifying and securing the services of the appropriate Arabic language resources is what we do! (Refer to our Arabic translation assignment process for information on our Arabic translation project management process).
In a nutshell, we use professional translators who have a solid mastery of the Arabic language (grammar, spelling, cultural nuances) and a solid understanding of the subject matter.
Once we are confident that the appropriate freelance resources have been identified and certain that we can honour the project deadline, we submit a quote for the translation assignment.
If we cannot secure the appropriate resources, we will do our best to refer you to Arabic translation sources of information that we have confidence in.

Arabic, in terms of the number of speakers, is the largest living member of the Semitic language family. Estimates of native speakers vary between 186 and 422 million and as many as 246 million non-native speakers.
Classified as Central Semitic, it is closely related to Hebrew and Aramaic and has its roots in a Proto-Semitic common ancestor. In ISO 639-3, modern Arabic is classified as a macrolanguage with 27 sub-languages. These varieties are spoken throughout the Arab world, and Standard Arabic is widely studied and used throughout the Islamic world.
Modern Standard Arabic derives from Classical Arabic, the only surviving member of the Old North Arabian dialect group, attested epigraphically since the 6th century. It has been a literary language and the liturgical language of Islam since the 7th century.
Arabic has lent many words to other languages of the Islamic world, as Latin has contributed to most European languages. It has also borrowed from those languages, as well as Persian and Sanskrit from early contacts with their affiliated regions. During the Middle Ages, Arabic was a major vehicle of culture, especially in science, mathematics and philosophy, with the result that many European languages have also borrowed numerous words from it. Arabic influence is seen in Mediterranean languages, particularly Spanish, Portuguese, Sicilian, and Maltese, due to both the proximity of European and Arab civilization and 700 years of caliphate government in the Iberian peninsula
